What are the specifics of TERRA.vita?
Quite simply! It has been admitted as first German natural park in the European Geopark Network and belongs to the few German natural preserves with different and therefore very diversified landscape forms. Since 2004, TERRA.vita belongs to the original members of the world-wide UNESCO Geoparks.However, TERRA.vita offers more than recreation in a beautiful surroundings. Here, you can experience different epoches and phenomenons from 300 million years of geology live. The name puts the pecularity into words: TERRA.vita – the biography, the vita of the Earth.
And this variety provides attractions for everyone: whether dinosaur tracks, the legendary Varus battle, brine or lakes; whether exploring the terrain afoot or by bike. What we offer and the topic geology connects everybody – with recreation or sporting activities.
